Yes. A short 15–20 minute call helps us understand your situation before giving a final quote. We want to know whether you have an existing site, what condition it is in, how many pages you need, and whether you have content and branding ready. This means we quote accurately rather than estimating, so you know exactly what you are paying for before any work begins.
Yes, a one-time setup fee applies to all plans. The amount varies based on scope:
The exact fee is confirmed after your free consultation call, before any work begins.
Your domain is always registered in your name and sits in your registrar account, not ours. If you already have a domain, we connect it to your hosting on the onboarding call. We walk you through the DNS settings step by step, or configure them on your behalf if you grant temporary access. If you need a new domain, we register it in your name as part of setup. From year two onwards, you renew it directly with your registrar, and we are happy to assist at no extra charge.
Yes. Website migration is something we handle regularly. During the consultation we assess your current site and recommend the right path. We either migrate and redeploy it as-is under the Elevate plan, rebuild it cleanly as a website redesign service under Rebuild, or advise a full new build if that serves you better long-term. Common reasons clients switch to us include slow load times, poor mobile experience, an outdated design, or a platform that is expensive to maintain.
What Rebuild covers: You have an existing website with real content, pages, and an established brand identity (logo, colors, copy). Your site may be outdated, slow, poorly designed, or built on an old CMS. We redesign the look, rebuild on clean code, migrate to cloud hosting, and manage it from there. The condition of the current site does not matter. We work from your existing content and brand, not from the existing code.
What Rebuild does not cover: Rebuild is scoped around your existing pages and content. It does not include writing new copy from scratch, developing new branding or a new logo from nothing, or adding significantly more pages than your current site has. If your site has 4 pages today, a Rebuild delivers 4 redesigned pages. Adding 6 new pages, creating a new brand identity, or building features that do not exist in any form on your current site falls outside Rebuild scope.
When it becomes a Create: If during the consultation we find that your requirements go beyond redesigning what you already have, we will be upfront about it. Requests that need new branding, full copy writing, or a substantially larger site than what exists will be scoped and priced as a Create. You will always know the scope and price before any work begins, so there are no surprises.
Timelines vary by plan:
We keep the process guided so nothing stalls on our end.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel at the end of any billing cycle with no penalties. For yearly plans, cancellation takes effect at the end of the annual period. We keep things flexible. Clients stay because the service works, not because they are locked in.
No. Copptics specialises exclusively in static websites. We do not build or manage WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or any other CMS-based platforms. If you currently have a WordPress site and want to move to something faster, cheaper to host, and lower maintenance, we can help with that migration.
A static website serves pre-built pages directly to visitors with no database or server-side processing. This makes them significantly faster to load, cheaper to host, more secure, and easier to maintain. They are ideal for portfolios, business sites, restaurants, salons, clinics, and most service-based businesses.
A dynamic website (like WordPress) generates pages on the fly using a database and server-side code. This is better suited for large e-commerce stores, membership platforms, or complex web applications, but they come with higher hosting costs, constant plugin updates, and a larger security attack surface.
For most small businesses and freelancers, a static website delivers everything they need at a fraction of the cost and complexity.
Your content belongs to you. All text, images, logo, and branding you provide remains your property at all times and is returned to you on request if you cancel.
The website itself, including its source code, design implementation, deployment configuration, and hosting infrastructure, is built and maintained by Copptics and remains our intellectual property. The code and files are not transferable to the client. This is what allows us to keep plans affordable and maintain quality standards across all clients.
